Western Toyota Partners with Help You Cope

Western Toyota is proud to announce a new partnership with Help You Cope, a local charity dedicated to supporting caregivers of children with Autism.

Help You Cope was born out of personal adversity. Its founder, faced with her own child’s autism diagnosis, felt lost and unsupported in navigating the maze of emotions and limited resources. Determined to change this experience for others, she began a small mothers’ group in Southwest Sydney. That group has since blossomed into a registered non-profit charity, providing vital resources, programs, and emotional support for carers.

Their mission is simple yet profound: no caregiver should ever feel alone on their journey. Through wellbeing workshops, emotional support, and opportunities to connect with like-minded carers, Help You Cope offers guidance and care for those who selflessly support their families.

At Western Toyota, the team are serving the purpose from our company vision: enhancing the lives of our customers, our people, and the communities we serve. This partnership is an extension of that vision.

Autism is on the rise across Australia. Caregivers often face two challenging situations:
  • Parents who have just received their child’s diagnosis and turn to “Dr. Google” for answers often leaving them feeling overwhelmed and scared.
  • Parents who have been navigating the journey for years, in need of ongoing physical and emotional support.
This is where Help You Cope, with the support of Western Toyota, steps in. Together, we are working to provide carers with the right resources, networks, and community support to make a real difference.

Western Toyota’s support includes:
  • Providing a new Toyota RAV4 to the Founder and Director, enabling her to reach families in need.
  • Funding monthly programs such as Sip & Share, Sip & Learn, Sip & Care, and Sip & Social.
  • Sponsorship of the Autism Expo in March 2026.

"Autism does not mean something is “wrong” with a child despite the unfortunate language sometimes used in medical settings. Every child is unique and full of potential. Help You Cope is here to educate, support, and walk alongside carers at every stage of their journey.

“Together, Western Toyota and Help You Cope will continue to make a positive impact ensuring no caregiver walks this road alone.”
